Business Philosophy
I’m not trying to sell you on one job. I’m trying to sell you and your friends 6. The only way in which that can happen is if I deliver a superior product at a fair price. This means that I take the time to get the project or repair right!
Craftsmanship:
I don’t use nails and screws to supplement a weak joint. I use the right joinery for the task at hand. I use joints that will have the wood holding the joint together and use only a small amount of glue to prevent it from sliding apart. This means that frequently work with dovetails, finger joints, mortise and tenons and reinforced miter joints
Materials:
I only work with quality woods and finishes. If my first supplier doesn’t have good stuff, I’m driving to the next. If a customer asks me to use cheaper materials, I make sure that they are informed of all appropriate options so that they can make an informed decision.
Get it right:
Sometimes projects don’t go as planned. Contractors often take shortcuts and hope that they can get away with it. Not here. I may miss a delivery date because I understand that I may or may not be forgiven for a late delivery but, I’ll never be forgiven for poor quality. Therefore, if something is not right, I will (and often have) rebuild it and made it right.
